The Premier High Yield Savings is a variable, tiered rate account and the APY is subject to change at any time without notice. Withdrawals or fees may reduce earnings on your account.Daily Balance APY $0.01 to $24,999.99 0.03% $25,000 to no limit 2.50% - A one-time Account Opening Fee will be automatically deducted from the Premier High Yield Savings account upon receipt of a minimum opening deposit of $25,000 or more. Depending on the funding amount, the deduction of the account opening fee may result in your account balance falling below the minimum average balance required to avoid a monthly account maintenance fee.
At the discretion of the Bank, the one-time Account Opening Fee may be WAIVED if you’ve previously paid an Account Opening Fee related to a currently OPEN Global Checking or Premier High Yield Savings account that has been maintained in good standing with the Bank and is in an OPEN status at the time you apply for your NEW Premier High Yield Savings. You’ll be notified at the time of account application if you qualify for an Account Opening Fee waiver. See product terms for additional details.
Additionally, during the first 12 months (full or partial) after the initial funding requirement is met, Premier High Yield Savings customers will have an opportunity to qualify for up to $300 in Account Opening Fee Refunds. For each month during the qualification period where you have maintained a combined month-end average balance of $100,000 or more in the qualifying consumer deposit accounts you own at East West Bank, you’ll receive a $100 Account Opening Fee Refund. Maximum refund amount: $300, earned over 3 qualifying months. - Your Monthly Account Maintenance Fee will be waived if you maintain a $25,000 average balance in your Premier High Yield Savings account each monthly statement cycle, or a $50,000 prior month-end combined average balance in the qualifying consumer deposit accounts you own at East West Bank.
