The Asian Art Museum

The Asian Art Museum celebrates, preserves, and promotes Asian and Asian American art and cultures for local and global audiences, providing a dynamic forum for exchanging ideas, inviting collaboration, and fueling an understanding and empathy among people of all backgrounds. In the heart of San Francisco, the museum is home to one of the world’s finest collections of Asian art, ranging from ancient jades and ceramics to contemporary video installations. Dynamic special exhibitions, cultural celebrations and public programs provide rich art experiences that unlock the past and spark questions about the future.

East West Bank has supported the museum’s transformation since 2018, helping to enhance their state-of-the-art facilities, expand their annual programming to better serve school children and low-income families, and further the ongoing cultural exchange between East and West.
